TX/OU

Not only was it a long, holiday weekend, but it was also TX/OU weekend. And somehow the stars aligned for us to go. The girls had early morning games at 9:00 & 9:30 so we were able to go to their games & then head straight to the Cotton Bowl. Even though they weren't going, I still added a little Longhorn bling for their games:

Of course they wanted a little photo shoot with their pom poms!

As soon as we got to their game, we saw our OU friends:

As soon as their games were over, their babysitter picked them up & we headed straight to Dallas. We got there right when the 1st quarter ended & the 2nd quarter started:

We sat with our friends Alaina & Matt and our other friends were sitting in the upper deck & we met up with them afterwards. In case you didn't see it, the game was AWESOME! Of course we blew a huge lead & only won by 3 points, but we kicked that field goal in the last 10 seconds of the game:

It never gets old celebrating a victory with this guy!

Afterwards, we met up with the Bain Family & spent the rest of the day at the fair. We tried a lot a fun fried food & Bryan got his favorite corn dog ever at Fletchers:

The kids rode rides & played games but the biggest highlight of their day was when someone gave Ellie this unicorn:

Can you tell she was excited?! They had to carry that huge thing around the rest of the day:

It was a fun day. Super exciting victory & a great time at the fair. We did not miss the girls at the game but it would have been fun to have them at the fair. Thank goodness we have a trip planned with them next week!
