I have been throwing big, holiday play dates/parties for the girls since they were born but this year we decided to do something different:
Instead of inviting the boys, we decided to keep the party smaller & just have a tea party with the girls:
We tried to add enough chairs around our dining room table so that all of the girls could sit together. You know I am not very crafty or creative so I decorated the table the best I could with place settings. I didn't want much in the middle so the girls could see each other:
We asked everyone to bring Valentine's to pass out so we had a bag for that, Valentine Bingo cards & tea cups for everyone:
I always plan for more food than we probably need but I never know if anyone else is going to bring anything. Well they did so we had way too much!
Did you notice that the apple slices had hearts cut out of them? And that the sandwiches were heart shaped? Everything looked so cute & tasted so good :)
When all of the girls had gotten there, we had them all sit at the table:
I tried to get a shot of them, but don't think we quite got everyone. We started off with bingo where they played with conversation hearts:
We played until everyone won & then we celebrated by eating:
Instead of tea, Sophie requested apple juice & pink lemonade for her tea party. They were so cute drinking their drinks & cheering the cups:
After the girls ate, they took turns passing out Valentine's to each other:
They were so excited & I'm pretty sure this was their favorite part of the party. They all got to go home with a bag full of goodies & their tea cup. We had such a great time getting to visit with everyone & watching the girls celebrate together:
Hope your Valentine's Day is as sweet as these girls!
