It was a fun weekend. Busy, but fun. And it finally warmed up outside! Friday night Sadie had basketball practice & Sophie usually loves going to all of Sadie's activities because most of her friends have younger siblings Sophie's age. I had to do a double take the other night because Gavin was fixing Sophie's hair:
It was so cute! They sat there for the longest time & entertained themselves. Such great kids. Afterwards, we went to the Texas Legends basketball game with another family from Sadie's team:
Avery, Sadie & Sophie had a blast watching the game & running around & playing. I believe this was the first time we stayed until the end of the game so the girls didn't go to bed until after 10:30. Advantages of having older children!
The next morning the girls had a game & Sadie made another basket so she was excited. Afterwards, Sophie got invited to a birthday party at WOGA gymnastics:
The original plan was for Sadie & I to drop Sophie off, but when we got there Sadie wanted to stay & help out:
She did help out, but she also tried to sneak in some play time & a cupcake :) Sophie has been Abby's best friend at pre-school since the day they started:
That night we met some friends for an early dinner at Your Pie:
Our girls love this place! Their kid meal comes with pizza, a drink & a scoop of gelato. But not only that, they get dough to play with while their pizza is cooking :)
Then we headed to Wakeland High School to see Beauty & the Beast. We have taken Sadie to the local theater performances since she was 2, but this was our first time to take Sophie. She was scared to see the beast at first so she sat with Bryan & I but the big girls all sat by themselves:
I am always blown away by how good their theater department is! The set, the costumes, the singing - everything was wonderful & we all loved it! The girls were so excited to get autographs & pictures afterwards:
Sadie has done this before but since it was Sophie's first time, she was too cute. You could tell she was in awe!
It was another late night but these girls were troopers. Luckily Sunday slowed down a little. After church Bryan & I went to a parenting conference & then Sadie had a girl scout meeting. I was actually looking forward to the week ahead just so it would slow down!
