Sophie has patiently been waiting for her turn to go to school since Sadie has been going for the past 2 weeks & finally today we got to meet her teacher:
This year she has Mrs. Kyle, who is new to Sonshine but has years of teaching experience. Luckily 8 out of the 10 kids in her class are the same kids she has been with for the past 2 years. They are considered the older 3's because they have earlier birthdays in the school year. She is in the older pod, which is blue & in the exact same class room that Sadie was in at this age:
As soon as she walked in, she found her name at her table & got busy playing with her friends. Mrs. Kyle had the classroom looking so cute & ready for the first day:
I know personally I am ready for a little bit of time to myself while they are both at school, but also, I am really excited for her new chapter. Sonshine School is more of a mother's day out program & Sonshine Academy is definitely a pre-school which gets them ready for kindergarten. Sadie learned so much when she came over here & they get to have a lot more fun. Class parties, chapel, performances, field trips, etc. We will definitely miss Sophie while she is gone but know she will love it:
