Monday was Bryan's last day off from work so he wanted to spend the day with the girls. Originally he wanted to go to the Dallas Aquarium since he has never been there, but by the time we headed down town, it was close to lunch & we were hungry. Instead of going to a restaurant, we went to Klyde Warren Park since the weather was awesome. We have taken the girls there before & this day was perfect because since it was a holiday for most, it wasn't crowded downtown. And the Christmas tree was still up:
We grabbed lunch at the food trucks & had a picnic outside. The girls were begging us to play in the park so we ended up spending the afternoon playing outside & never made it to the aquarium:
Still can't believe it was in the 70's on New Year's day but spending the day outside with the girls was the perfect way to end our holiday break:
