Where it All Began

We drove down to Houston earlier this week & while we were there, Bryan & I thought it would be fun to drive by our old house to show the girls:

We lived in a townhome in the Heights, which is a part of Houston inside the loop, kind of between downtown & the Galleria. We lived here for 5 years & really liked it!

Even though we love living in Frisco, there are definite times I miss living in the city. Minutes from anything & we took the back roads everywhere - we hardly ever got on the freeway. In fact, Bryan always jokes that this is where his career really took off, right there on the 3rd floor of our townhome in the guest room. His desk was actually set up in the bay window:

In case you are wondering who took this photo shoot, that would be Sadie! I asked if she would take a picture of us & she did great! And she was so proud of herself :) So we asked if they wanted to take a picture with us:

Who would have thought that years later, we would be back to visit with both of our daughters!

Back then the only extra member of our family was Daisy!
