Girls Just Want To Have Fun

Last week while Bryan was out of town, Natalie & Zoe came in for a quick visit. They aren't able to make it to the girls' birthday party this year & since we hadn't seen each other in a while, they drove up. Let me just start by saying that they might as well all 3 be sisters because they just love each other so much:

Are they adorable or what? I thought it would be fun to do something for the holidays so we drove over to the Gaylord Hotel:

We have taken the girls before, but they were younger & Zoe had never been, so we thought it would be a fun surprise:

especially since this year's theme is child friendly. It was so cold, the kids kind of rushed through the exhibit & were not interested in taking the time to read the story or look at anything in detail:

Sadie absolutely loved the ice slides! We all 3 went down them but Sophie was ready to leave after a few times:

I stayed & let Sadie slide as many times as she wanted but Natalie took Zoe & Sophie out of there because they weren't enjoying it anymore:

They warmed up outside but as soon as Sadie left the ICE exhibit, she headed straight towards the snow hill to tube:

She probably went down 20 times before we finally convinced Zoe to go with her:

Then we had to cut both of them off or they would have spent the entire afternoon there!

Eventually we headed home & the girls played outside:

until it got dark & then they headed inside & played dress up while Aunt Natalie took turns painting their nails & toenails:

After dinner we surprised them one last time & after they got ready for bed, we loaded them in the car to drive around & look at Christmas lights:

The next morning the girls had to head to school while they got ready to head home:

It was definitely a quick trip but we had so much fun getting to spend some extra girl time together! Especially Sophie - she loved being with Aunt Natalie! She even got to ride to school with her:

Thanks again for coming to visit Natalie - I absolutely love watching our girls grow up together!
