Bryan went Christmas shopping at Willow Bend yesterday which is a different mall than we usually go to. He came home all excited because he said they have an ice castle where Santa is so we decided to take the girls this morning. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint:
It was probably the prettiest Santa display in a mall that I have ever seen! Granted, we didn't dress the girls up in their Christmas outfits or pay for the pictures, but it was well worth the free visit. They had a lot of pictures & statues of polar bears which the girls liked. Who knew the average polar bear was 8 -10 feet tall!
You get to visit with Mrs. Clause first & then while you are waiting on Santa Clause, you get to go inside the ice palace where it actually snows:
Sadie dove right in & loved it! Sophie was a little hesitant until I picked her up & carried her in there:
They both loved seeing Santa & he actually sent them home with plastic Christmas plates to lay there cookies out on Christmas Eve. I cannot believe we haven't been here before. Of course they wouldn't let me take pictures of Mr. or Mrs. Clause but the experience was totally worth it, especially since it was free! I have a feeling Christmas it is going to be a magical one with both of the girls at this age!
