When my sister & I were talking about her trip to visit the DFW area, we were trying to think of somewhere fun to take the kids for at least one outing while they were here. I listed a bunch of places around the Metroplex & as soon as I said Legoland, she was all in! Kason loves legos so it was perfect for him & perfect for us since we have never been there:
As soon as we walked in, we learned how they made legos. Then we checked out the rides because we were afraid they would get crowded:
There were actually 3 rides & all of the kids could do all of them, so that worked out! Sophie has gotten pretty brave & will do pretty much anything these days :)
They also had a lot of lego art & statues around that the kids liked looking at & climbing on:
They had 2 play grounds, 1 for smaller children & 1 for older children. And of course they had random legos everywhere that you could play with. The kids especially loved the racing area because they could build different types of cars to race each other:
They even had a 4D movie that the kids loved:
Overall, it was a fun day getting to do something we have never done before. Honestly, it was kind of small & there wasn't as much to do as we thought, especially for the price. But it was still fun trying something new, just don't think we will be going back.
