Last week my sister Natalie drove up with the kids for our annual cousins camp! Bryan was out of town for most of the week & Daniel didn't come, so it was literally Nat & I with all of the kids & we had a blast. We ate, we swam, we visited, we played & we were lazy. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy spending time with my sister & watching our kids grow up together!
As soon as they got here, the kids were ready to play so we started in the front yard where they took turns riding bikes, riding scooters & driving the pink car:
We spent about half our time together outside in the back yard. The kids were either playing on the swingset, playing with the water table or swimming in the pool:
Sophie continues to impress me every time we get in the water. She still has a way to go before she can catch up to Sadie, but her swimming has really improved:
Natalie invited her friend Joni over one morning & her 3 kids fit right in with our crazy bunch. Kason was so excited to see his girlfriend & Sadie wondered why he had a girlfriend:
When we weren't outside, we were inside playing, watching movies or attempting to play games. I say attempting because Sadie, Zoe & Kason fight like siblings & each one of them got a little competitive with the games:
One afternoon the kids watched a movie downstairs with Natalie while I got dinner ready. I literally looked up & every single kid was trying to sit in her lap at one time:
We also let the big kids have a movie night upstairs by themselves one evening:
And since this family loves movies, we even ventured out with all 5 of them to see the first Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse of the summer, Paddington Bear:
Bryan flew home on their last night so we took the kids on a bide ride around our new trails & ended up at Bahama Bucks:
I think we had popsicles, ice cream sundaes, cookies & snow cones while they were here! What a fun way to spend summer with your favorite friends who also happen to be cousins :)
