This past weekend mostly revolved around food & soccer. Friday night, Sadie had soccer practice & afterwards, a few of the families went to Mooyah for dinner. It ended up being the perfect place to go with this many kids because they have a corner of the restaurant that has chalkboard walls so the kids had a blast entertaining themselves while we ordered & waited on our food:
I'm sure we scared everyone else in the restaurant away but we had a great time!
The next day the girls had an early soccer game which I will blog about tomorrow. Sadie did so good she deserves a post all to herself! After their game, we went to the semi state championship soccer game for the high school boys. 2 of our Frisco teams were playing each other so we knew at least 1 team from Frisco would be represented in the state championship game. Sadie loved watching the big boys since they can kick it & hit it so far!
After that, we came back to Frisco for the StrEATs Food Truck Festival. It's a local festival in downtown Frisco where all the food trucks from Dallas drive in. We have gone the past couple of years & we love it:
I can't tell you how much yummy food we had! We sampled a little bit of everything :) We saw a ton of people out there & we even met up with another family. I didn't take many pictures because it was so crowded & it kind of rained so I was trying to stay dry & control the kids. Luckily they had a kids court with games, balloon artist, face painting, etc. Of course Sadie had to get her face painted but Sophie wanted nothing to do with it:
It's hard to tell, but she got a unicorn. We had a great time, despite the weather!
