Life Lately

We jumped right back into our busy schedule when we returned from vacation & now it's spring break. But we've had a fun week so far.

Sophie's teacher sent me a picture from lunch the other day - apparently she loved her nutella wrap:

After school that day, we took Sophie home for her nap & since Bryan was working from home, Sadie went with me to vote:

Bryan wasn't on this ballot but he will be May 8!

Wednesday we had MOPS & we played birthday games as we raised money for the Birthday Party Project. Such a cool organization I had never heard of - go check it out if you haven't either! One of the games was dressing up a girl at our table to be a clown with the few supplies we had:

Friday, Jamie & I took the kids to Prestonwood Baptist Church. We heard they had a new indoor playground that you could visit anytime for free & wow, were we surprised:

Not only was it new & clean, but it was kind of in a small, confined place so Jamie & I could visit & not worry about the kids so much. They even have a cafeteria on site where we ate lunch. I have a feeling we will be going back there this summer:

That night Sadie has soccer practice & afterwards we went to go get sno cones:

They were the first ones we have had since last summer & they tasted yummy! Sophie especially liked it :)

The next morning Sadie had a soccer game. I was a little worried since they had just started their season & then she missed 2 practices & 2 games while we were on vacation. Apparently it didn't slow her down, because she stole the ball & dribbled it all the way down the field by herself to score:

Bryan just happened to have his phone out & he caught a video of it. Here were her cheerleaders:

While we were gone, they decided to order team sweatshirts for the girls & matching shirts for the coaches. Bryan & Chad are the assistant coaches but Sadie & Kenzie love having their daddies help out:

The weather was so awesome on Saturday that we spent most of the day playing outside. Then we went for a long bike ride that night to check out the new trails by our house:

Not quite sure what this picture is from, but I found it on our phone:

I can't believe how big Sophie is getting! She is actually into taking pictures more than Sadie these days.
