Easter at Sonshine Academy 2016

I think there was a scheduling conflict up at the church so Sadie's class got to celebrate Easter last week. Before St. Patrick's Day! I'm telling you, I'm all confused with these holidays running together! And the weather is cooler this early in spring :(

I headed to her school early & we got to watch all of the 3 year old classes go on 1 big egg hunt:

You should have seen how anxious they were as they waited! We all counted down & then they got to head off but they were only allowed to get 12 eggs. In typical Sadie fashion, she grabbed hers pretty quickly (faster than most!) and she was screaming the numbers out loud as she picked them up. Afterwards, she wanted to take a few pictures with her friends:

Then each class got to take turns taking a picture with the Easter Bunny:

When they went inside, their class was all set up & decorated for their Easter party. First thing they did was dive into their cupcakes:

which was followed by an Easter craft:

and an Easter story:

Finally, we all headed to the sanctuary for their Easter program. Just like last time, Sadie was center stage on the front row but this time she was by her good friend Tatum. The 2 of them looked so cute singing & dancing together:

The lighting is so horrible for taking pictures, especially with her blonde hair but Bryan got a good video. I love knowing that she is surrounded by such great Christian women at school & that was truly reflected with this holiday. She really impressed me with her songs, stories & understanding of Jesus's resurrection! Don't get me wrong, she loves the candy, but I'm glad she has learned more about Easter than eggs & bunnies:
