Today was the last day of school before Thanksgiving so the girls had their Thankful Feasts with their classes today. I dressed all of us up for fall with the girls in their matching pumpkin outfits & we tried to take a selfie on our way out the door this morning:
Unfortunately we don't get invited to any of the parties for Sophie yet since she is young, but I was assigned sugar cookies so I sent them in her back pack. For Sadie's class, we were invited to attend their luncheon. I got there early & waited in the gym until her class came marching in:
All of the kids looked so cute in their headbands & were so excited to see their parents! And they had a pretty good looking lunch waiting for them:
Did you notice their cute place mats? Apparently that was the surprise for the parents. They made them at school & we got to take them home so they enjoy them for Thanksgiving:
We had a fun time visiting with her friends & all of the other parents:
But the highlight of her day was probably when her Dad showed up at the end & surprised her:
She has been asking him all week if he could come & he had a pretty busy day, but he was able to stop by for a few minutes & it was worth it!
I know I say it all the time, but we absolutely love Sonshine & couldn't be more thankful to have both of our children there:
