We had a busy weekend supporting Frisco ISD! 3 of our football teams made the high school play offs & they got to play at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington. Bryan went to the first game Friday night but it didn't start until 9:30 so I stayed home with the girls.
On Saturday morning, we went to a Fun Run Expo that they put on since our race got cancelled a few weeks ago. It is the annual fundraiser for the Frisco Education Foundation to raise money for student scholarships. The girls had fun jumping in the bounce houses but Sadie was most excited to get her face painted:
She chose a blue unicorn & can you tell she was just a tad bit excited?!
That afternoon, Bryan stayed home with Sophie while I took Sadie to see:
Again, one of our local high schools put the show on. She had never seen Shrek, so we watched it this week & that made it even more fun since it was fresh on her mind:
Since we went to the matinee, it wasn't too crowded & she wanted to sit on the front row. When the show was over, they started playing music while all of the characters gave their bows & she stood up & started dancing like crazy:
She just danced her little heart out all by herself! Nothing can slow this girl down :)
As soon as the show was over, Bryan & Sophie picked us up & we drove to Arlington again to watch Frisco High in their play off game. Sadie hadn't been to Cowboy Stadium yet & she was in awe:
Both of the girls were really - I mean that's probably the biggest tv they have ever seen in their life:
All 4 of us splurged & ate nasty, greasy concession food for dinner & it tasted great:
Too bad 2 of our teams lost this weekend, but 1 school won & advanced another round in the play offs. We love FISD & are proud to support them any chance we have!
