Bryan's brother Tim & his family flew in from Colorado this weekend to spend the week here for Thanksgiving, however, it is our holiday with my family so our schedules did not sync up. But we did get to see them for a few hours yesterday. We all met up after church for lunch at their parent's house. And since they won't be coming back for Christmas, we celebrated yesterday. I can honestly say I think it was the first time we have celebrated Christmas before Thanksgiving! We didn't do all of our gifts with Bryan's family (his parents or grandmothers) because we will see them on Christmas, but we did exchange gifts with Tim's family. The kids didn't mind one bit:
It's funny now looking at the pictures & realizing that I dressed the girls up for fall in their pumpkin outfits while they open Christmas gifts :) They got a few Christmas gifts but they also got birthday presents as well:
The girls gave their cousins gifts:
And we gave Grammy her birthday present since hers was a few days earlier:
Tim's family hit the jackpot. Since they won't be here in December, they got all of their gifts from everyone, including these matching pajamas:
We had a great afternoon & my only complaint is that we will miss them on the actual holiday when we are celebrating with everyone else. Cheers to the start of the holiday season!
