Spooktacular Fun

This week has been fun. We have had some sort of special Halloween activity every day with lots of costumes involved.

Last weekend when it was raining, we decorated some of our pumpkins:

We are waiting to carve one this weekend.

On Monday, Sadie got to wear a costume to gymnastics:

On Tuesday, the girls wore their Halloween outfits to school:

And on Wednesday, Sophie & I went to MOPS where she had another fall themed outfit:

I just love seeing her wear all of Sadie's old holiday outfits - it brings up so many memories from when Sadie was this age!

While we were at MOPS, Sadie went to Presley's house. Presley goes to dance class on Wednesday mornings & they were having a friends & family day, so she invited Sadie. Since I had already committed to MOPS, Lacey was generous enough to let Sadie stay for the entire morning while we were gone. This was the first time Sadie went somewhere with someone else besides family :)

Presley is our neighbor but she also goes to gymnastics with Sadie. But apparently, dance class was a hit also!

Today, the girls had fall festivals at school & got to wear their costumes again. We don't get invited to events in Sophie's class because they are too young, but it was the first time I got to do something with Sadie's class! First we got to come visit when they had the petting zoo:

And then we went inside for carnival games. The parents got to help out while the kids ran around & played:

It was so cute watching all them running around in their costumes & interacting with each other! They also had other activities throughout the day including a bounce house, but we didn't get to stay for all of it. That's ok, I just enjoyed getting to sneak up there for an hour or so & Sadie was so excited that I was there. So grateful for Mrs. C & Sonshine Academy!
