Special Delivery

We had a package delivered from the North Pole earlier this week:

Thank goodness Sadie can't read yet because there was no way to hide these boxes. The next day, a little elf showed up to help assemble this special package:

You would not believe how many little pieces were in those boxes but luckily, this guy was a pro. I mean seriously, he installs basketball goals, trampolines & swing sets full time so he has seen them all. Bryan helped our neighbor put together a swing set a few years ago & it took 3 men all weekend long & Bryan swore after that he would never do it again. Fast forward to me trying desperately to find someone to help us out as close to Christmas as possible. Unfortunately, December 17 was the closest I could get to December 25. And it was a horrible day for working outside. It was in the 30's & it rained all day. But this guy was a pro. He set up a tent with all of his tools & a radio & went to work:

Do you know how hard it is to keep this a secret for a week? Thank goodness we installed additional locks up high to keep the girls away from the pool because in this case we are keeping them out of the backyard! Luckily it has been wet & cold so I'll think we'll survive, but you'll have to come back to see the finished product when the girls finally see it!
