We kicked off our Christmas holiday last Monday when Bryan's family joined us. His brother & his family were stuck in Colorado since they were due with a baby any day so we celebrated with his parents before they drove up there. His Nanny & Granny also joined us. I always enjoy hosting holidays at our house because it gives me a good excuse to use my Christmas dishes, crystal & fine china:
Sophie slept through dinner, but I set a special setting for Sadie so she could join us at the table:
The girls both got this adorable Christmas place setting for their birthday. In true typical Texas style, we decided to have fajitas for dinner & they were tasty:
Bryan's getting good on his new grill! When we finished eating, Sophie finally woke up from her nap so Nanny got to feed her while we started opening presents:
In case you are wondering why she is covered in a towel, that's because she has been vomiting for the past week. I will probably blog about that later, but let's just say we tried another round of food with her & her little body has not had a good week :(
Sadie had a blast getting to help everyone open their gifts:
And she even had fun passing out gifts because she got to help unwrap those also:
Once Sophie finished her bottle, she finally joined the chaos:
Even though the other Dodson family couldn't join us, they were with us in spirit. They hooked the girls up with new stuff for their bathroom & Sadie loved it - I mean who knew that she would be so excited about her own trash can?!
Tim, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Braxton & now miss Whitney - we'll have to make up for it next year!
