Princess Elsa

I took Sadie to see  Frozen right before Sophie was born, but of course she was not even 2 at the time so I don't think she really got it. Now she is obsessed with it & talks about Princess Anna & Elsa all the time! She's really only seen the movie a few times, but I think she is starting to pick up on it from other girls, especially her friends. So she was beyond excited when she got invited to a Frozen birthday party last week. I have to admit - we have been to a lot of birthday parties, but never one quite like this.

 

As soon as we got there, they were welcomed by Anna, Elsa, Ariel & Sleeping Beauty. Then they were given the opportunity to dress up in any costume that they wanted & of course Sadie chose Elsa. Here is a picture of Anna helping Sadie get her dress on:

 

 

They had the Frozen soundtrack playing so as soon as she put her dress on, she started twirling around:

 

 

Next up, a beauty appointment with Elsa. She gave Sadie some Frozen tattoos:

 

 

Followed by hair glitter from Sleeping Beauty:

 

 

Finally she was all glammed out & she had to check herself out in the magic mirror:

 

 

After everyone was ready, they played a lot games, did a lot of dancing & walked the catwalk:

 

 

Sleeping Beauty fell asleep at the party so they took turns trying to wake her up:

 

 

They ended the party with refreshments in a different room & it was decorated so cute. Everything from her cake to the party favors was adorable:

 

 

I think there must have been another party right after this one, so they quickly tried to usher everyone out but you know my little food lover - she would not leave until every bite of her pizza, cake & ice cream were gone:

 

 

Literally, we were the last ones to leave. Even the birthday girl & her family had already left! It's a good thing Sadie is active since she likes food so much :)
