Three years ago, I took Sadie to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, TX.
We went with some girls from MOPS & I quickly learned it was the best pumpkin patch around! It is about 20 miles north up in the country & it is actually a pumpkin farm - not a random pumpkin patch set up in a parking lot.
We went with our MOPS group again this year & I was so excited to bring Sophie this time!
As soon as we got there, Sadie wanted to feed the animals:
She only wanted to feed the "baby cows" but she was too scared to let them eat out of her hand, so she would throw it in there instead.
Then we met up with our friend Jamie & her twins & we couldn't resist taking a few photos of the kids:
And Jamie even offered to take a picture of us, which turned out great! I hardly ever get pictures with my girls :)
There were a lot of activities for the children including a hay maze:
and a hay ride:
And of course they got to pick their pumpkin:
After Byron & Tatum left, we met up with 2 of the girls at my table, Emily & Jordan. Of course we had to take pictures with their little girls, Austen & Sadie. Don't you just love that name?!
Sadie was hamming it up, so I tried to take advantage & get a good picture of her & Sophie:
I love that Sadie is hugging her, but I couldn't get a good one of them both looking & smiling at me. But I did catch a good one of our little diva, Sophie:
I had to bribe Sadie all day with thoughts of candy for her to take pictures & she wasn't so enthusiastic. As soon as I say it's time to go, she is ready to get her glam on. I think she was stalling because all of the sudden, she was wanting to take pictures of everything:
And her farewell picture showing the pumpkin that she picked:
Whew - what a busy month! We tackled the state fair, autumn at the arboretum, the pumpkin patch & trunk or treat. Hopefully we can handle trick or treating on Halloween night!
