Last year, Frisco had their first StrEAT food & music festival which is held downtown where there are food trucks & music groups everywhere. We were really excited to go last year (I'm pretty sure I posted a blog about it....) but unfortunately we both got some type of stomach bug & spent the whole weekend sick at home while Sadie was at her grandparents :( This year we made up for it! We enjoyed trying several food trucks while we sat around & listened to some music. And we ran into a lot of friends - apparently this was the place to be at last Saturday!
We ran into the Haley family first & they brought lawn chairs so we borrowed a chair & made ourselves comfy!
Technically Bryan did. He fed Sophie a bottle & kept her out of the sun while I ran around with this girl:
There were several tents & booths set up with games, so she liked exploring & she was obsessed with this tree. She kept holding on to it & going around it in circles over & over.....
And she was obsessed with her cheese sliders. She ate both & would not share :(
What can I say - the girl likes to eat!
She was also excited when we ran into our neighbors, Alexa & Nicole:
We actually saw a lot more friends, but I didn't get pictures of everyone. We were busy talking & eating! Even though we couldn't stay too long (due to nap time) we did have fun & definitely plan on going back next year. Maybe next time we won't be in a hurry to leave so I can try the ice cream truck!
