Chuck E Cheese

After the turkey trot last Thursday, we drove to Hurst & spent the weekend with Bryan's family. We saw all of his extended family on Thursday & then Friday his brother Tim & his family finally came over. They drove all the way from Colorado & we don't see them often so it was a fun weekend of hanging out & letting the kids play! Grammy & Grandpa surprised them by taking them to Chuck E Cheese on Friday afternoon. I hadn't been there since I was a little girl, but apparently they had taken Sadie there once before. It goes without saying that all of us had fun - little kids & big kids! Sadie loved riding all of the rides:

 

 

She did take a brief break to eat lunch. Luckily I brought some grapes from home which she devoured, but for some reason she didn't really eat the pizza. She normally loves pizza so I don't know if she didn't like their pizza or just wasn't hungry.

The big boys also had a friendly sibling rivalry. They started off shooting hoops & they kept breaking even, so they moved on to Skee Ball, which Tim won but then Bryan came back & redeemed himself in the football game.

 

 

Between all of us we scored a lot of tickets, so we let Kaitlyn collect them all. Being the sweetheart that she is, she bought something for herself but she also got gifts for Braxton & Sadie. Such a great example!
