Most of Sadie's friends are around her age - either born a couple of months before or after her, so a few of them have already started turning 2, which means the birthday party circuit has begun. Earlier this month she got invited to Addalyn & Brooklyn's party where Emily did such a great job with the owl theme. I mean check out the cake & cupcakes she made:

After they opened presents, their Dad put one of them together for the kids to enjoy while at the party:
In case you are wondering what that is, it is a ball pit! It kind of looks like an inflatable pool, but it actually has a hole on the side where the kids can crawl in/out & the pit is full of colorful, inflatable balls. Sadie thought this was awesome & I could barely drag her out of it to take her home :) Before we left however, she gave both of the girls hugs & it was so dang cute! Of course I barely grabbed my phone in time to capture this moment, but I kind of got her & Brooklyn embracing:
Thanks Emily for inviting Sadie to the girl's birthday party! She had a blast & I wish they were able to spend more time together :)
