Splash Park

Sadie had a play date this morning with one of Kason's friends, Addy. My sister used to watch Addy when they lived in Lubbock, but they recently moved to the Prosper area. Kason used to talk about her all the time & Natalie would always post pictures on her blog, so I feel like I know her, even though we had hardly met. Since they are new to the area, I invited them out for a play date & we tried something new: the Splash Park! We went to Frisco Commons in downtown Frisco & first off they hit the playground. Addy climbed around everywhere but Sadie stuck to her normal routine:

After they worked up a sweat, we walked over to the Splash Park. You know Sadie loves water, but she had never experienced this before:

As I expected, she LOVED it! There were lots of big kids running around & they didn't even phase her. She was content with her own little water falls. We started small & worked our way up:

I guess she is used to us splashing water in her face in the bath tub & the pool because it never even bothered her. Addy on the other hand was more interested in filling up her water bottle & pouring it out:

I tried to get a picture of the girls together, but Addy didn't want to sit down & Sadie isn't very mobile yet :) And when I finally got one of them by each other, the water turned off!

We had a fun time this morning & I have a feeling we will be going back to the splash park soon so her Dad can see her in action! And hopefully there will be more play dates with Addy in the future.
