Spring in Texas

This is my favorite time of year. Maybe because my birthday is in March or because I got married in April, but mostly because the weather is perfect! I hate winter so I love when warmer weather blows in & nature is in full bloom. Right now it's absolutely perfect & one of my favorite flowers is in season - Blue Bonnets! There are some beautiful fields around Frisco & I could not wait to take pictures of Sadie! Bryan didn't quite understand my excitement - apparently his parents didn't make him take pictures growing up like mine did. I have a lot of memories of my sister & I taking pictures in the Blue Bonnets every year. And it is an annual tradition I would like to start with Sadie. Needless to say it was a little hard this year since she cannot sit or stand on her own & it's not quite the same when you have to lay her on a blanket. We tried to get creative with baskets, bumbo, step stools, etc. Here are her beautiful results - hope you enjoy as much as we did!

Thank you Aunt Natalie for her sweet little dress & matching bow. She wore this outfit to church yesterday & had a ton of compliments, especially regarding her bow. I told everyone that you made it :) I must confess, I kind of love that Sadie already has a trademark item - she is known for the outrageous bows/flowers she is always wearing!
