Friday morning Sadie & I went to play group at the Sci-Tech Discovery Center. I have to admit that I have been there before, but it was for a ladies night out. It was much different going there this time when the whole place is full of kids running around & strollers around every corner. Granted, Sadie was a little young to participate, but I think she enjoyed watching everything & everyone. She even sat really still in my lap during story time & never made a peep. Although, she was a little disappointed that she didn't get to plant any flowers along with the other kiddos...... Here is a snapshot I took while we were leaving - as you can see, this play group thing really tires her out!
Later that night, we went over to Bryan's parent's house to celebrate the March birthdays. My birthday was yesterday & his Dad's is later this week. His Mom surprised us with a beautiful cake that tasted yummy:
I have a feeling she designed the cake with me in mind & not Robert - maybe the pink & glitter gave that away! Of course Sadie enjoyed seeing everyone, but she pulled the ultimate party foul & couldn't make it to the end of the night:
