For those who know us well, Bryan & I used to have a very busy schedule & we used to travel often. Bryan for business & both of us for pleasure. Unfortunately, our lives have still been busy the last 6 months with doctor appointments, but we haven't gotten to do any traveling, until this weekend. We finally went to Austin for our first road trip. It was so nice just to get away, stay in a hotel, not have to worry about Daisy & enjoy being somewhere other than Frisco. Friday night we went to Hula Hut & had a date night just the 2 of us. It was perfect weather & we got an awesome table on the patio right on the lake at sunset.
On Saturday, we tailgated with our friends all day & went to the football game that afternoon. Unfortunately, we lost again, but we did look better than last week. And even though we hate losing, we have had season tickets for 8 years & I believe we were pretty stinkin' good the first 6 years, so I guess we have to hang in there through the difficult times also :) I guess we were so busy socializing that I realized later I didn't take any pictures. I did get one snapshot of Joel & his 2 brothers, Ben & David. Other than that, I did remember to get one inside the stadium from our seats. After all, this was Baby Dodson's first home game at DKR stadium!
