Babymoon

Since Bryan finished chemo earlier this month, he has been feeling a lot better these days & since he hasn't started radiation yet, we decided to take advantage of the time off. Therefore, we went to Las Vegas last week for our babymoon! We decided to take one last trip before my doctor cuts me off from traveling & what better place to celebrate our last vacation together without kids than Vegas?! I believe it was a much needed vacation for both of us. We got plenty of rest & came home rejuvenated. I usually go shopping while I am there, but this time, instead of shopping for me, I shopped for baby stuff! I also went to the spa & had an expectant mother's massage, which was heavenly. It was even hot enough to spend some time laying out by the pool reading a book. Bryan shopped a little with me, but he spent most of his time at the tables catching up on a little gambling. Don't worry - he actually came home with money!

The nights were the best - Bryan & I went on a date every night we were there. We had some delicious dinners & saw several great shows: 2 Cirque du Soleil, Viva Elvis & Love and we saw Terry Fator.

Terry Fator was fabulous! I really didn't care if we saw him, but Bryan wanted to. For those who don't know, he is a ventriloquist who won America's Got Talent a few years ago. After winning he got his own show at the Mirage. He has several puppets, he sings, the puppets sing - the music is amazing & he does a great job! I would totally recommend him next time your in Vegas......

And one of my favorite things to do in Vegas is to walk through the Bellagio - they always change their flowers for the season and/or holidays. Spring will always be my favorite time of year, but the older I get, the more I appreciate the Fall. Here are a few pictures:

I guess we won't be going back to Vegas any time soon unless we bring the grandparents so they can babysit :) Or we might have to go for a quick weekend get away, but I am sure it will be a while until we are ready to leave her. Until next time, Viva Las Vegas!
