Baby Dodson Update

Last Wednesday when we left the Cancer Center after Bryan's chemo treatment we went straight to my doctor for my sonogram appointment. Bryan didn't feel very well but he has been talking about our little girl all day & he was determined not to miss my appointment! I am 19 weeks pregnant & will be 20 weeks on Thursday - cannot believe we are half way there! We tried to get some good pictures of her but apparently she was in her own world. She moved the entire time - she had her feet up in the air, kicking, clapping, turning - it's a good thing we already knew she was a girl because we could barely get a good shot of her this time! I have told Bryan lately that I am teaching her to dance and apparently she has picked up a few moves or too :)

Here she is kicking her feet up in the air....

I think this time she was trying to show me how flexible she is! If you can't tell, that's her arm & her little fingers on the left trying to touch her toes!

Here is a profile shot of her head with her hand held up high - I think she was "raising the roof!"

And finally this is another shot of her head with her hand up high - I think she was trying to wave to us! We joked that she was practicing her beauty queen wave..... We got a lot more pictures but these are some of my favorites that I thought I would share.

Also, on Saturday night I went out with a girlfriend to this event for women in Frisco. We had a great time & I came home with an unexpected gift for Bryan:

I got an airbrush tattoo of a pink longhorn on my belly! Don't worry - it is not harmful to my pregnancy & it will wash off in a week or so. I love the way it glitters! And Bryan was pretty sick this weekend from his chemo, so I thought this would cheer him up! Normally, I wouldn't like to post pictures of my belly up close, but thought this one was too cute not to share :)
