We might have had a late night with the luau, but we woke up early on Saturday to hit the water. My dad & Natalie's family went on a snorkel sail that left early that morning:
And while they were gone, Bryan & Sadie booked a dive trip:
They did 2 deep dives in 2 different parts of the islands & had a great time together:
Meanwhile, my mom stayed behind to take care of Max and Sophie did not want to go sailing or snorkeling. Not her thing, but she does like to shop so we had our hotel drop us off at Whaler's Village:
We walked around and shopped until Max was over it, so when my mom went back, Bryan & Sadie came & joined is. The girls were so excited to try:
Where they got dirty Alani's!
They love dirty sodas, but they had never had a dirty Alani. I couldn't help but take a picture when I saw them posting a video about it:
Then we were so excited to get our souvenirs together - permanent ankle bracelets! Sadie had one for years, but it broke a few months ago. Sophie has always wanted one and I always told her we would get one eventually and I even said on vacation, so this was the perfect thing for the 3 of us to do together:
We got the same chain, but I got silver with pink accents and they both got gold with blue accents:
That night, we were super excited for dinner because we had friends on vacation at the resort next door, so we met them at:
We were so excited to see our family friends, The Hills:
Sunday morning, we woke up early for a very special morning together, but I am going to wait & do a separate post for that. But afterwards, the guys went golfing:
while the girls went to brunch at:
Slappy Cakes! I had never heard of this concept but quickly became a fan. It's kind of like hibachi, but instead of cooking Asian food in front of you, you have your own griddle table where you can make your own pancakes:
They had a gf/df batter, so Sadie & I cooked ours first and we had fun picking our toppings:
Since the guys were still golfing, we went back to shop & we surprised Zoe with an early birthday present:
She got an ankle bracelet too! And you know what's even more fun - we loved one of our guides when we went ziplining and she worked at the jewelry bar! We knew her schedule so we waited to go over the weekend when we knew she would be working so the girls were excited to see her again:
Since we ate out earlier in the day, we grilled again that night. This time we did fajitas & had a picnic by the beach followed by a late-night swim:
Ok, if you are still hanging in there, I have one more post than I will wrap up Hawaii, but you will never guess where we went next & I am so excited to share!
