Halloween was extra special this year because it was on a Friday night & the girls didn't have school on Friday! The only difference was Sadie had cross country & basketball practice after school so she didn't come home until 5:15. Sophie on the other hand came straight home from school & was ready to go before 5:00!
Both of the girls are born in December, but Sophie is the week before Christmas & she has been obsessed with Christmas since she was little. She absolutely loves Christmas music & can listen to it all year, she wants me to decorate super early & this year, she decided she would be the one & only Mrs. Clause:
I mean she has literally been talking about it since last Halloween! All of her friends were being pop stars (Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande) and then there's the little old lady. Ha!
She has an annual Halloween party at our friends' house that her & Bryan go to every year so of course I get lots of pictures from Liz:
Eventually they met up with the boys:
Meanwhile, I stayed behind with Sadie. She invited a few friends over to our house & we had our own little party before they went out. This year she was a shark with another girl, one was a lifeguard & the last girl was the shark victim:
We had perfect weather & it was an awesome night. Pretty crowded in our neighborhood & the girls got to stay up late since they could sleep in the next day. Now we've got candy to last us until 2025!
