I know we are only half way though May, but like I've said, it has been busy with the end of school so I thought I should play catch up before summer is officially here in a few days! Last week, the girls had bike to school day. Sadie went to school early for FCA but Sophie met up with a few of our neighbor friends:
Bryan got to be Watch Dog Dad one last time before school got out:
Speaking of lunch, Sadie had a Chick Fil A surprise when her friend's mom dropped it off for lunch last week:
Friday night Sophie went to the Roughrider's baseball game for Girl Scout night & from what I heard it was a blast! They got there early & got to go down on the field for the parade:
While they were there, they got to see the Rangers World Champion trophy:
After the game they had fireworks, then they got to go back on the field for a late night movie! They watched Mulan on the big screen & were invited to spend the night & sleep on the field, but they just decided to make it a late night & then come home, which was probably the best decision for our family. Ha!
Thank you Kimberlee for taking the girls, I know they had a blast!
Finally, we celebrated Mother's Day. In the rain. Of course! The girls surprised me with a hot pink orchid (my favorite color!) homemade cards & my favorite candy! They know me well:
They still set up a photo booth at church but it was inside with the weather:
Then we celebrated lunch at Perry's & dessert at Cinnaholic!
I can't even list all of the other good food we ate this weekend - I feel like Mother's Day was a good excuse to indulge all weekend long! Cheers to all of the moms out there!
