Two weekends ago was FISD's graduation weekend & this year, Bryan only had to attend 4 of them. For the first time they split the graduations into 2 different locations, Dr. Pepper Arena & the Star. On Friday night he went to Frisco High School:
The valedictorian was actually a family friend who we used to go to church with:
So proud of Ethan! I believe he is going to be an Aggie this fall.
The next day, we met Bryan at the Star to watch Wakeland High School graduate:
We got there early & had lunch with Bryan & he got to take the girls down on the field before everyone got there:
We actually knew several people graduating from Wakeland since that is our high school. Babysitters, neighbors, friends from church, etc. Here is our view of the field:
And here is Bryan's:
Before they started, he came over & took a selfie with us:
Of course they took pictures up on stage too:
I made a list of everyone we knew so Bryan made sure to stand up & shake their hand or hug them. We saw Anna Grace & her family, Sadie's friend from soccer:
Her sister Ashlyn graduated & is going to play soccer at a school in Oklahoma:
We also saw Coach Jeremy & his family because his son Connor graduated:
He will be going to school at Colorado Christian. We saw several other people but the only other picture I got was Monica:
Monica has been our main babysitter since Sadie was born - 5 1/2 years ago! Her mom is a trustee with Bryan & that is how we met her family. They live fairly close to us & she is always the first person I call when we need help. She is only going to SMU in Dallas so she will be near, but I have a feeling we won't be seeing her as often :(
It was a long weekend for Bryan but we enjoyed the 1 ceremony we attended. It's always refreshing when school ends because work for the school board tends to slow down for summer so we will get to see Bryan more often:
