When we booked our trip last March, the ship had not been updated & did not have a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but we heard the smaller ships were still good because they were easier to get around for smaller children. Fast forward to the fall & we learned that our ship, the Disney Wonder, just came out of refurbishment & we had no idea! Not only had the whole ship been updated, but they also added a BBB spa! I was so excited because Sadie had been before, but Sophie hadn't. And since she just turned 3, she was finally old enough to go.
Here is her obligatory before picture:
Can you tell she was so excited?! She sat very patiently while they spoiled her:
I loved watching them fix her hair because her hair is so much longer than Sadie's. Of course there are 2 hairstyles you can choose from & all of the older girls chose the princess style but Sophie chose the diva hairstyle:
It was basically a crazy hair piece on the top with long extensions & she was so excited about it! They also did her make up & painted her nails:
Of course her fairy godmother had to sprinkle her with pixie dust before she was finished:
She ended up looking beautiful, even with crazy hair!
Sophie went first & then the older 3 girls got to follow. Here is their before picture:
I had brought other dresses for the girls to wear that day, but we went to the Frozen Gathering & they met Elsa, Anna & Olaf so they were determined to both wear their Elsa gowns.
Sadie was a pro & kept telling her fairy godmother that she had already done this before:
She chose the same princess hairstyle as last time but she still enjoyed being pampered. Last but not least, pixie dust for her as well:
Alana & Grayson got pampered as well & even Gavin joined in on the fun! They turned him into a pirate with a fun hair style & he got a sword & shield:
One more time, here are the before pictures of the girls:
(I absolutely love that second picture! It totally shows their ages & personalities!!)
And here is their after:
The moms had just as much as fun as the girls did visiting while they got pampered. I think the whole Bibbidi Bobbidi/fairy godmother thing is precious & I am so glad that the kids are still young enough to really believe in all of the magic!
