Surf's Up Breakfast

Months ago when we started planning out trip to California, my mom asked if we wanted to go to Disney Land since we would only be 20 minutes from Anaheim. Would we? Seriously?! We have been to Disney World a few times, but we have never been to Disney Land. The girls are at the perfect age right now where everything is still magical & they are still into the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & all of the princesses. So when my sister & I started planning our day at Disney, she suggested we do a character breakfast. Thank goodness we were lucky & able to book one the day before we had tickets. That way we could enjoy a late breakfast & not miss out on our time at the park. She chose the perfect one because it had a beach theme & fit the California vibe perfectly:

Can you tell they were just a little bit excited?! We got to see several characters while we were eating:

Most of the characters walked around while we ate, except for Mickey Mouse. He stood at the lifeguard stand the entire time so we got to go see him:

At one point, Lilo came out while music was playing & the kids had a dance party. The girls really got into that:

And they surprised my parents with dessert since they are celebrating 40 years of marriage:

Kind of cool that both of our parents celebrated their 40th anniversary in the past year & they celebrated by taking their families on vacation. We are so thankful to have you set such great examples for our marriage! Thank you Mimi & Doc for a wonderful trip. I know we all enjoyed spending extra time with you both.
