Biker Babe

Sadie got a "big girl" toy for Christmas that she used for the first time the other day:

In case you can't tell, it's a bike trailer. I had asked for one of these because Bryan & I both have bikes, so I thought it would be fun for us to pull her around. We can go ride as a family & get a work out all at the same time! The first problem was that it has been too cold to start taking her out. The second problem was that the trailer had to be put together. After it set in a box in the garage for over 2 months, I finally put it together myself. But I couldn't figure out how to attach it to my bike, so it sat there for another month until we finally got Bryan to help us. Fortunately, he worked his magic & Sadie has loved it!

After all that work riding around, she had to take a water break of course:

I love these 2 pictures because they really express her personality these days! Sometimes she is very serious & you can tell she is "thinking" about something. Other times she is all smiles & it melts my heart :)
