Downtown Disney

While we were in Orlando, Sadie & I had 1 day by our self while Bryan was working. I was trying to find something cheap to do around town, because everything is so expensive (Disney, Seaworld, Universal Studios, etc.) so we went to Downtown Disney. It was a perfect way to spend the day, especially since the weather was awesome. There were a couple of stores so we went shopping:

We strolled around outside & found different parks to play at:

We also found a carousel:

but instead of riding on one of the horses, she rode in a teapot:

Although she might have had more fun when we got off the ride. She ran around dancing to the music & waving to all of the other riders:

We also found a mini train that was just her size:

She also hit up the toy store where she got to play with Mr. Potato Head:

Of course all of that playing, strolling, dancing & waving made us hungry, so we had to stop for lunch at

I am sure most of you have been there, but we had not. That's one of those places that Bryan & I never went to since we didn't have kids. For those who haven't been there, it was a perfect place to eat. The whole restaurant is full of monkeys, gorillas & elephants that come alive while you are dining. And every 30 minutes there is a "rain storm".

I will admit that was the easiest 1 hour lunch that I have ever had with her! She was so entertained, that she didn't even need a snack while we waited for our food :)

For those who have never been to Downtown Disney, it was a good way to keep entertained for a half a day without having to pay for entertainment. Besides our lunch, we enjoyed most of the day for free. There is a main stage with performances throughout the day & fun music everywhere. And I believe every where we went they passed out stickers. Of course, it doesn't take much to entertain this girl - she just loves being outside wherever we are!
