One of the fun things about having a kid is doing all of the things we used to do when we were kids! One of the groups I am involved in, Frisco Women's League, has been making Thanksgiving cards using their hands & making them look like turkeys :) A bunch of women & their kids got together & made them & then we are handing them out all over town at different nursing homes, assisted living homes, etc. Today we went as a family to help spread Thanksgiving cheer & it was just as much a blessing for us as it was for them!
This little cutie was all smiles as she helped pass out our Turkey cards. She may not look like it from this picture, but she really was smiling & waving as we passed her from one person to another. We also had fun serving with our good friends the Clark Family:
Afterwards, Sadie enjoyed sitting in Alexa & Nicole's laps in the rocking chairs on the front porch:
Now that I am looking at these pictures, Sadie doesn't look like she had fun at all! We actually had a great morning volunteering followed by lunch with friends, but apparently she didn't feel like posing for the camera today :)
