Instead of Friday night lights in Frisco, for middle school, it is Tuesday night lights & they officially started this week! Sophie has really long days on Tuesdays, but she wouldn't have it any other way. They have cheer practice at 7:00 in the morning, after school she stays for volleyball practice until 5:00, then she rushes to the stadium for the first football game at 5:30:
You can't even tell half of this squad did the same thing as her because they were ready to cheer! They have been practicing all summer for this night:
They cheer for the B game first on the sideline, then perform at halftime:
Then they take a break during the 3rd quarter to eat dinner before they get ready to do it all over again for the A team:
It was hot out there but thankfully it cooled off when the sun went down:
They had a lot of friends there in the student section cheering from the stands:
and of course she had her own cheering section with us also:
After the game, a group of them went to Raising Cane's to celebrate. I have a feeling it will be a fun season:
