Margaritaville

Last week, the girls & I made a quick trip back home to celebrate my niece's birthday at Margaritaville on Lake Conroe:

I didn't take any pictures of the resort, but it is so cute decorated tropical with surfboards, string lights & margarita light fixtures everywhere. Besides being right on the lake, they had a water park, a putt putt course, tennis courts, pickleball courts & a golf course. We met Zoe & her friend Zoe for a girls' getaway & it was the perfect place:

The girls went straight to the waterpark while Natalie & I got our rooms settled & she decorated:

We had 2 rooms next to each other so the girls had a room & than I shared one with my sister. And seriously, the rooms were so cute:

The girls got hungry so we cleaned up early & headed to dinner on the water:

It was hot but it was such a pretty evening. After dinner we walked over to play miniature golf:

While we were there someone gave us free tickets to try out the floating tee at the driving range. At first we all took turns on the golf ball shooter:

and then we all took turns taking a few drives with the golf clubs:

Next, we discovered the arcade where Nat splurged & let the girls play a few games:

Before we headed back upstairs for the night. Nat had made each of the girls a gift basket with matching pajamas, face masks, eye patches & a few snacks. These girls had the best time pampering themselves, eating snacks & staying up late visiting & watching movies. Meanwhile, Nat & I were next door & while we had fun visiting, I don't think we stayed up quite as late as they did:

It was such a fun way to celebrate Zoe & kind of the perfect way to end summer. It was definitely a quick road trip because we had to get back to Frisco for a soccer tournament & cheer camp, but we soaked up the summer sun while we were there. Thanks Nat & Zoe for letting us tag along!
