So far, summer is flying by! I feel like I am busier now than when they were at school all day! Here's a little photo dump of what's been going on with our life lately. First up, I don't think I ever posted pictures from Mother's Day, but we had a nice day together with no sports or conflicts:
We were able to go to church then brunch, which is always my favorite:
The girls have spent the past few weeks going to our high school's volleyball, soccer & this week, basketball camp:
Sophie has been going to the earlier camp with her age group & then Sadie goes to the camp afterwards with the older girls so Sophie has had a few friends come over & swim while Sadie was gone:
Her volleyball team had an end of the season pool party:
When she is not swimming, she's had fun hanging out with friends too. She got to go to VBS last week at our church:
And that's the only picture I have from VBS this year! Actually, it was the first time ever I did not volunteer. Sadie had strength & conditioning, followed by soccer camp, so she couldn't go & I was too busy driving her around. Thank goodness we had a neighborhood carpool with friends to help me out!
After VBS she went to the movies with friends:
And we tried a new place in town called Slick City, which Sophie loved:
We planned a family night out at an FC Dallas soccer game but Sadie ended up not going so we let Sophie bring a friend instead:
Sadie has been busy also, but for some reason, I have less pictures of her. Maybe because she is getting older? She went to Main Event with a friend to kick off summer:
And she's gone to a few birthday sleepovers:
She also played in a soccer tournament this past weekend. She has been practicing with the ODP 2011 team all year but this was the first tournament she got to play with them & it was hot out there but she did great:

We found a new ice cream shop that we love & we may have become regulars this summer, especially me! They have the best df & gf options & it is definitely a favorite this summer!
