Radiance & Frozen in Frisco

We are 5 days into our winter break & it has been awesome! We have literally slept in every morning, stayed up late most nights, done several Christmas crafts, done some extra baking, watched a lot of Christmas movies & seen a lot of Christmas lights. And I have loved every minute! On Monday, we surprised the girls & took them to a new event in town:

Every single time we drive by here, the girls ask if they can go so they were excited when we surprised them! The event is located at Dr. Pepper Ballpark where the Roughriders play:

We rode the trolley first that drove us through the Christmas lights:

They had Christmas music playing as we drove through the different themed areas:

They had a patriotic show, a Frozen show through Arrendale:

and our favorite part, a tropical Christmas with ocean waves, palm trees & a surfing Santa:

where they even played Jimmy Buffet Christmas music!

Once we finished our Christmas light tour, we headed to the winter carnival where the girls wanted to ride the snow hill first:

Next to that was a carousel, which brought back sweet memories because it has been a long time since either of them have ridden a carousel:

Sophie was especially excited to ride the ferris wheel since she did at the fair:

We had the best view of the ballpark, the Christmas lights & all of Frisco when we were up there:

We skipped the ice skating since they had just done that but we had fun walking around the ballpark all decorated:

There was so much to do & we were so thankful we went on Monday night so it wasn't a weekend, but not too close to Christmas yet where it was busy. There were hardly any lines & the girls got to do most everything they offered:

They loved throwing snow balls:

We were about to give up on the bumper cars, but the girls wouldn't give in:

We saved the best for last because the best part of the night was getting to see Santa!

He was the best Santa we have seen in a while! There was no one else there to see him except for us so he really took his time & talked to the girls. Worth every penny just for that moment:
