Things are finally slowing down now that Halloween is over & our fall activities are getting closer to finishing. The best news is that our weather has been fantastic! We are spending as much time outside as we can before it gets too cold to be out there anymore! Here are a few Halloween left overs. It was actually really cold & rainy the week of Halloween, so the school pushed their pumpkin patch back a week:
Sadie had a 4v4 Halloween soccer tournament the Friday night before Halloween but it had to be postponed also so we had it last weekend. They still had fun even though it was a week after Halloween:
Her team is in black & they were the Monster Mash. The other team was the Wicked Winners & of course their first game was against their teammates. They played 4 games in a row & eventually lost out but in between the games, they had a soccer shootout & trick or treating. Here is their team picture before & after:
While Sadie is at soccer Sophie always plays with Ariana. They have become besties & thank goodness they have each other since we are at Sadie's soccer 5 days a week. They were SO excited when they realized that they have the same number on their soccer jerseys:
At practice last week, I caught Sophie giving her a makeover:
At school, I finally got to have lunch with Sophie & a few of our friends joined us:
A fun picture from recess:
Another fun picture with a slime bubble:
I have been on the PTA at our school for the past couple of years but this year I took over the book fair. It was an easy year to transition because we were not allowed to hold an event on campus so instead it was a virtual book fair & my work is easy peasy. The girls were SO excited when their books were finally delivered:
Finally, birthday parties have definitely slowed down this year, but every now & then someone plans something creative outside. This past weekend the girls went to a petting zoo & even though they have been going to these since they were little, they are never too old to enjoy it:
They even got to ride ponies:
Thank you Aubrie & Ariana for letting us help celebrate your birthdays!
