We are officially back to school & all of our activities started last week. First up, we had to find out who are teachers were. On Tuesday morning ,we drove through the parking lot at our school to turn in our school supplies & the girls received their writing notebooks. On them was a sticker with their name & a teacher's name. That was clue number one:
Later that afternoon, we received an email from their teachers & it was both of the teachers they wanted! Then a few hours later they had a virtual meet the teacher for both of them. Sophie got one of the veteran teachers who has been teaching 1st grade at Pink for years:
while Sadie has 2 teachers this year. She has a homeroom teacher & a co-teacher who they will switch with. Her homeroom teacher lives around the corner from us & her daughter used to babysit for us & her co-teacher taught her in 1st grade! Needless to say she was pumped:
They had a live zoom call with their teachers & all of their classmates so even though they didn't get to meet in person, they still met virtually. The next day, the parents had a virtual zoom call also so we could meet the teacher & the parents too. She also had a fun surprise because her teachers actually stopped by the house on the 2nd day of school so she got to see them in person:
