It's been a fun week since the girls got out for winter break! We had a whole list of Christmas activities to check off our list before the big day, starting with baking. We made coconut macaroons, peanut butter blossom cookies, chocolate covered pretzels & we made home made sugar cookies which we decorated:
We tried to space it out & bake 1 thing per day. Of course we also had to make our gingerbread house:
The girls were very independent this year & wanted to do most everything by themselves, without my help, which kind of made me sad. But at least they are growing up!
We had a few snack packs from Sophie's party left over so they got to make snowman donuts for breakfast one morning:
I hate to say that most of our activities revolve around food, but apparently they do! I did surprise them one afternoon & we did their nails for Christmas:
My mom gave the girls this color pack but there were a few strips left so I turned my thumbs into Santa Clause too:
Then we had 1 last Christmas party before the actual holiday - Sadie's Renegade soccer party. The girls had fun playing games, doing a cookie exchange & a gift exchange:

As much as Sadie loves soccer, her friends & her coach, we were all excited for a 2 week winter break from soccer also. Cheers Coach T!
