Tis the season! We've had several Christmas outings this month starting with Girl Scouts:
They met for their monthly meeting after school & then they headed to the nursing home where they passed out holidays cards & sang Christmas carols:
Later we went to Texas Women's University to watch the Nutcracker together:
All of the girls looked so pretty in their holiday dresses! Apparently I didn't get the memo & since it was a Saturday afternoon performance, I had just put the girls in a Christmas outfit:
Since it was the weekend of their birthday party, my mom was in town & got to go with us:
I had a great time, according to Sadie it was boring! She loves musicals & plays so she didn't understand why they didn't talk :)
Besides Sophie performing in our Christmas musical at church, she also performed on Sunday morning at both services:
Speaking of church, I also attended our women's Christmas party:
I thought it looked really nice in there! Of course I could be a little biased because I am on the event set up committee so I helped decorate that morning.
We also went to our Life Group Christmas party:
I am so thankful we get to celebrate life with these families!
Finally, we had a Christmas party with Bryan's work at a new place in town:
I always love trying somewhere new:
We bowled, visited, ate, drank & laughed. A lot!
Don't know if you can tell, that platter of meat actually came with sparkler's on it!
I had so much fun getting to crash their party! Thanks for letting me tag along Bryan - it ended up being a fun date night for the two of us as well:
