We woke up on Christmas on Eve & got straight to work - the girls wanted to wait & make their sugar cookies for Santa so they would be fresh:
This is one of my favorite things to do & I have been baking since I was a little girl! The girls did a great job decorating them all & we even enticed Bryan to decorate a few too:
Look how pretty they all turned out?!
They got creative & made swirl & tye dye designs and even added m&m's as decorations!
After baking we cleaned up & headed to the Christmas Eve candlelight service at church:
I couldn't help but take a few pictures of the girls since they had photo props set up:
Next stop, our annual Christmas Eve party with the Dodson family at Nanny's house. We always have so much fun celebrating with them:
Finally, we headed home & finished our Christmas Eve festivities before Santa came. Usually we spread reindeer food outside, but this year we had Grinch Dust:
They had fun spreading it around outside but then it was time to go inside & put out our cookies & milk for Santa:
They both chose their favorite cookies that they made & Sadie also made a card for Santa. The next morning, look what we found?!
Our stockings were full but our Santa bags were empty! And about half of our cookies were eaten. But look what else we found?!
A trail of snow! Leading from the fireplace to? You'll have to read my next post to see how Christmas morning goes!
