We are lucky that some of our good friends have daughters the exact same age as ours so when the 4 of them get together, they get along perfectly. We had a late over with them this week & they couldn't have had more fun! The girls picked one of their JoJo craft sets to do with them & it was the hairstyling kit:
It was an airbrush with colored paint to spray their hair. We tried stencils to do designs on top of their hair, but it didn't work so we gave everyone colored streaks instead:
To be honest, it didn't work that well but they were so excited to do it:
After they finished hair, I had a special dessert planned - home made ice cream sandwiches! I saw a recipe in a magazine that looked kid friendly so I thought we would try it:
You basically buy frozen waffles, toast them, spread ice cream on them, re-freeze them, dip them in melted chocolate & then finish with sprinkles:
They didn't turn out as well as I thought but they actually tasted pretty good!
I am so thankful for their sweet friendship & glad we were able to do this before school started since they go to different schools.
