Life Lately

This week, let's start with this girl:

For some reason I don't have as many pictures of her recently but check out this sneak peak of her dance costume:

Isn't she adorable?! She has been working so hard getting ready for her recital which is coming up this summer. 

She is also enjoying her last few days at school. She only has 3 days of school left which blows my mind. We have been going there for 6 years so we are definitely going to miss it & she is going to miss her friends:

Moving on to Sadie, this girl has been busy. Even though her recreational soccer team has ended, she is still going full force with her academy team:

and her basketball team also. In fact, the girls were so surprised & excited when Sadie's teacher showed up to cheer them on:

She still loves school but I think she is ready for summer. I am sure she will miss her friends too:

When I was up at school this week I saw this picture hanging up in her classroom:

It made me laugh because it was from career day :) 

We had lunch with her the other day:

Yesterday she got to be librarian for the day & she loved it:

Our Wednesday night church activities are slowly coming to an end also. They only run during the school year & thankfully we get a break during the summer. We are really excited for things to slow down! This week they had their GA year end banquet & it was fun to celebrate with the girls:

We have finally started seeing our neighbors more since the weather has been nice. We have been playing outside a lot more & we even opened our pool a few weekends ago:

Speaking of swimming, look at what else happened this week:

The girls officially started swim team! They started practice twice a week in May & they have their first meet next week. Some kids wait until school is out to start but not these two - they were ready:

Especially Sophie. She was SO excited to go to swim practice with her sister. I never would have guessed that she would be so excited about it but she truly is. I mean she is literally the youngest in the pool & definitely not the fastest, but she had the biggest smile out there:

Whew - May has definitely been busy but we are counting down the days until summer!
